Rules & Regulation

1. Rules for Admission

  • Reservations at Vivekanandha Nature Cure Hospital can be made through telephone, e-mail, courier, or post.\

  • Advance booking is mandatory for all types of accommodation. Admission will be granted based on the availability of rooms and beds.

  • Application forms can be obtained through our website and submitted online, or downloaded and sent by post/courier, duly signed by the applicant, or sent through e-mail. Separate application forms must be submitted for each patient, along with sufficient medical records, if any, related to the health condition.

  • Admission will be granted only after approval by the doctor, following scrutiny of the medical records submitted and assessment of the patient’s ailment. The hospital reserves the right to deny admission based on the doctor’s clinical judgment.

  • Upon approval, a confirmation letter or e-mail will be sent to the patients who have submitted the application form by mail, courier, or e-mail. A copy of the confirmation letter must be produced at the time of arrival for admission.

  • Patients who reserve their rooms through telephone must bring their relevant medical records and undergo consultation with the concerned doctor before final approval for admission.

  • Every patient will be subjected to a physical examination by the doctor on arrival. If any condition is found to be inconsistent with the medical records submitted earlier, admission may be denied.

  • During consultation, the patient must disclose any ongoing use of drugs, medicines, or other treatments to the doctor.

  • For considerable therapeutic benefit, patients are advised to stay for the minimum number of days recommended by the doctors. As such, the minimum duration of stay is 10 days. However, admission for a minimum period of 5 days for detoxification may be permitted for patients opting for Deluxe and Executive accommodation, provided they are not suffering from acute or chronic diseases.

  • If a patient wishes to change the date after booking accommodation, the request will be considered only subject to room availability for the requested period.

  • Every patient must submit a valid identity proof issued by the Central or State Government, along with a passport-size photograph, at the time of arrival at Vivekanandha Nature Cure Hospital. Acceptable identity proofs include passport, voter ID, driving licence, PAN card, ration card, or bank passbook.

2. Rules During Stay

  • Patients are not permitted to leave the hospital premises during their period of stay without prior approval from the hospital management.

  • All patients are requested to strictly follow the treatment schedule, diet plan, and lifestyle instructions prescribed by the doctors and therapists.

  • The use of mobile phones, laptops, cameras, iPads, and other electronic gadgets is strictly prohibited in the treatment areas, yoga hall, meditation hall, and dining area, so that a peaceful healing environment is maintained for everyone.

  • Patients are expected to follow the rules and discipline applicable to each therapy session, yoga class, dining procedure, and hospital activity.
    Every patient must meet their respective doctor daily in the allotted consultation room and at the scheduled time. Meeting doctors in their residential quarters or personal spaces is strictly prohibited. In case of emergency, the security or duty staff should be informed immediately so that the doctor can be contacted without delay.

  • Patients are advised to dress modestly and respectfully throughout their stay. Loose, comfortable, and decent clothing suitable for naturopathy and yoga treatments is recommended. Inappropriate or revealing dress is not permitted inside the hospital premises.

  • Direct money transactions with hospital staff, or requesting staff to purchase items from outside on behalf of patients, is strictly not allowed.
    Tips, gifts, or personal incentives to individual staff members are not encouraged. Patients who wish to express appreciation may do so through the hospital’s official tip or contribution system, wherever applicable.

  • Patients are requested to maintain silence, peace, and harmony throughout the hospital campus. To support proper rest and healing, all patients are expected to retire to bed by 9.00 PM. Loud conversations, gatherings, or unnecessary movement after 9.00 PM are not permitted, as they may disturb other patients.

  • Patients must handle hospital property, room facilities, therapy equipment, and furnishings with care. Any damage caused to hospital property will be charged to the patient concerned. Patients are also requested to switch off lights, fans, air-conditioners, and water taps when not in use, and to keep their rooms neat and hygienic.

  • All patients are expected to maintain discipline, mutual respect, cleanliness, and cooperation throughout their stay, and to abide by all rules and regulations of the hospital.

  • The management of Vivekanandha Nature Cure Hospital reserves the right to discharge any patient who fails to follow the hospital rules, treatment discipline, or code of conduct.

3. Rules and Regulations

  • Patients are advised to complete the full course of treatment as prescribed by the doctors in order to receive the maximum therapeutic benefit from naturopathy and yoga therapies.

  • The use of tea, coffee, snuff, paan, tobacco, smoking, alcohol, and all other intoxicating substances is strictly prohibited within the hospital premises.

  • Food or beverages from outside are not permitted inside the hospital campus. Any patient or attender found violating this rule may be discharged from the hospital without prior notice.

  • Only admitted patients and authorized guests are permitted to stay within the hospital premises.

  • Helpers or attenders may accompany only those patients who genuinely require assistance, subject to the approval of the consulting doctor. A standard diet similar to that provided to patients will be arranged for such attenders. Outside food is strictly prohibited for attenders as well.

  • Visitors are allowed only during the designated visiting hours, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Visitors may meet patients only with the patient’s consent and with the permission of the hospital authorities.

  • Patients are strongly advised not to bring jewellery, cash, or other valuables to the hospital. The management will not be responsible for any loss or theft. Cash, if necessary, may be deposited safely at the reception and withdrawn when required upon producing the receipt. For safety and convenience, digital payments such as credit card, debit card, or UPI are encouraged.

  • Bed linen and pillows will be provided by the hospital. Personal accessories and other necessary items required during the stay may be purchased from the hospital stores.

  • Vehicles may be parked within the hospital premises during the patient’s period of stay. However, vehicle owners are requested to ensure proper locking and safety, as the hospital management is not responsible for any loss or damage.
